E-Mail issues when sending to Gmail

Hello,

Since few days, we've been reported issues when sending e-mails from Virtual-Info to Gmail, they didn't arrive and/or the sender received an answer from Mailer-Daemon saying that the sender IP (our SMTP) was banned for SPAM reason.

It's true that we've hosted many SPAM/Phishing scripts on legitimate accounts (maybe from CMS exploits), but also on dedicated accounts. No need to say that these accounts have been suspended or closed depending the case.

The explanation is that Gmail has been targeted this time and of course, the entire server is considered as SPAM sender (because of the common IP). This issue doesn't concern customers who are hosted on their dedicated IP. After cleaning up, we're still blacklisted, so today we've temporarily changed the external IP of our SMTP: 87.98.131.236 (smtp0.virtual-info.info), don't forget to update your SPF fields (Add this IP to the A field): CPanel > Mail > Email Authentication.

We also advise you to start an antivirus analysis in your online (through the AV tool in CPanel) AND offline directories (with your local antivirus).

We're sorry for the inconvenience, we will notice you when this is completely normal. Don't hesitate to write to the support or to the mailing-list.
